The OctoMax by Shadow Silencers is a .45 multi-caliber silencer designed to be one of the most versatile and rugged in its class. OctoMax allows users to disassemble the complete baffle system to tune the sound and airflow to the users liking, ammo choice and firearm, not to mention ease of cleaning. Consisting of seven baffles made of 7075 Aluminum and one Titanium (6AI-4V), baffle #1, combined with our unique blast chamber design the OctoMax is rugged, versatile, modular and quiet. Users will have the availability to shoot pistol or rifle rounds up to .45 caliber dangerous game rounds and the 338 Lapua out of the box. In addition to these features, the OctoMax will run up to 35% cooler than competitor products which reduces miraging, dramatically helps with thermal optics, and allows users to remove and transport quicker than competitors. Measuring 10 3/8 inches and 18.2oz (full stack) with an OD of 1 5/8 inches, mil spec 3 hard anodized inside and out, the OctoMax is comfortable on many types of rifle and pistol applications and durable enough for the toughest conditions. Ships with Bravo mount adapter (13/16 x 16), optional 5/8 x 24 direct thread adapter and high flow end cap available as optional accessories.
